With Sympathy

Good morning!

I have a sympathy card to share today that I made using Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps new Flower Blocks 1 stamp set.  I paper pieced the tulip and added just a bit of shading on the patterned paper before layering the flower petals with dimensional pop dots.

I wanted to make it a relatively simple card, since sympathy cards aren't normally too busy with embellishments, so just a bit of paper piercing around the flower block (which as you can see I stamped on the diagonal) and a sentiment stamped on the bottom from Script Sentiments finished it off.
