SNSS: Precious Poppies & Poppy Background

Good morning!

Today is the third day of the SNSS April release blog hops.  Today, it's all about Poppies!  Korin has released a gorgeous Poppy Background flower as well as a huge stamp set filled with lovely poppy images as well as some precious sentiments in a wonderful font!  It's one of my very favorite floral sets from SNSS!

My first card uses a couple of sentiments as well as one of the poppy images in the Precious Poppies stamp set.  I stamped it on this K&Company tag and then colored the flowers in with a couple of red and green Copic markers.

My second card uses the lovely poppy background image, that I stamped on some patterned paper and shaded just a touch with a couple of red Copic markers.  I finished the CAS card by adding a sentiment from the Precious Poppy stamp set, stamped on one of the tag dies released this month from SNSS.  The black shine twine is from The Twinery.

Please check out all the photos below for everyone else's projects with the two stamp sets featured today.  Leave comments along the way as you go, to be entered to win today's sets for your own collection!

Happy Hopping!
Jessica

Both cards are lovely. The second one is my favorite. I love the embossed woodgrain background. Great use of layers and embellishment. The polka dots bring an element of fun to the poppy. Well done.

Don't the doilies just bring out the beauty in cards? Especially the card with the woodgrain background and the polka dot poppy. Love the sentiment and the color mixture on the other card also. Thanks
