SNSS: Flower Blocks 1

Good morning!

I hope you've been enjoying the past several days of blog hops hosted by the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps' designers featuring the March release as much as I have!  I'm in awe of everyone's projects with the new stamps and die set and am so blessed to be part of such a wonderful team.

Today is the last day of the hops and we're showing one of my favorite sets of all: Flower Blocks 1 (which obviously means more is on the way! Yay!).  When I got my package of stamps in the mail, this is the set I had to play with first.  I'm sharing two of my cards today and will share the others later.

Here's the full view of the large stamp set:

My first card is one of the most detailed of the ones I made.  I stamped the flower three times on the October Afternoon patterned paper, shaded with Copics, cut out parts of the flower and popped it up on the original.  Then I added some white pearls to the flower's center and finished my card.

My second card also uses some patterned paper and shading with Copics - this time I just colored the flower and the background, no trimming.  I used a sentiment from Graceful Calla Lily because I thought it suited this tulip well.

This photo shows the glitter I added to the tulip a bit better and the subtle woodgrain embossing on the card front...

Once again, check out all the photos below for everyone else's projects with this beautiful stamp set.

Have a wonderful day!
Jessica
