TCM Retirement Blog Hop

Good morning!

Several of the TCM's designers are joining together to let you know of some of the stamp sets that will be retiring and the sale that Lisa is having on them.

If you're following along on the hop, you should have arrived on my blog from Jennifer's blog.  If not, you're going to want to start at the beginning at TCM's blog.

For my first card I used the sweet little Star Quality stamp set.

I used this month's TCM's sketch for my card and took a bit of liberty with the three embellishments, Nina used on her sketch by using the stars for them.

The stars from the set match quite well with an EK Success star punch that I've had in my crafting stash for years... love that find!

My next card uses the tiny Just for You stamp set.  I stamped the medallion in Vivid brown ink and then embellished it with a Sakura Glitter pen and dotted white liquid pearls around in each of the dots around the medallion.  Then, I added a copper nailhead to the center.

I don't know if you can see the details better in this photo but it really is pretty.  The sentiment was stamped and trimmed with pinking shears.

I decided to go monochromatic with my card, using all kraft and white.

I also have two cards to share with you that I made using the fun Baggin' Some Rays stamp set - oh how I love all the different suns in that set!
The sentiments on both of the cards are from Good Times.

Next up on the hop, is my friend Julie!
All the links to today's hop as well as the details on the giveaways and sale event can be found on TCM's store blog.

Have a great Monday!
Jessica

wow, lots of retirements sets used. I love the one with the peek-a-boo doily and the woodgrain behind it. kind of retro.
