TCM Love Themed blog hop event

Good morning!

This morning I'm thrilled to be joining several designers from The Craft's Meow to show off some of our favorite 'love themed' TCM stamps with you!  If you are hopping along with us, you should have arrived here  from Jen's blog.  If not, consider starting at the beginning and hop along!  You're going to "love" what we have prepared for you - pun totally intended! lol!

My two cards today use the beautiful Cherished stamp set illustrated by Nina Brackett.  My first card also uses the new Valentine Wishes illustrated by Mabelle R-O.

While the large background hydrangea flower collage looks beautiful colored, I choose to go a 'simpler' route by stamping it on patterned paper in black ink and layered other elements on top of it.  I tried to make a 'man friendly' card using the black, stone, and greens and think it will work.  Do you see that luscious platinum shimmer twine?  It's from The Twinery and is wonderful!!  We also have it in gold!

My second card is done with the traditional pinks, reds, and whites for a valentine/love card.  I used a 'mother' sentiment from Nina's Mother and Father stamp set... once of my favorites.

Next up on the hop is Karen!

In honor of today's hop, Lisa is putting the nine stamp sets we are featuring today on sale as well as having a special give away on The Craft's Meow blog.  Check out the blog for all the details and information on that fun tidbit!

Have a great day!
Jessica

Both cards are wonderful--I like how you used the background hydrangea on both.
