Welcome back to the last day of previews for The Craft's Meow May release. All the stamps we've been previewing will be available for purchase tomorrow (May 21) online! The first card I'm sharing this morning showcases the new Retro Foundations illustrated by Karen Baker. I love all the long border images Karen included in her set as well as the modern font sentiments.
When I die cut the notebook edge die on this yellow card stock, it slipped a bit and ended up cutting crooked as you can see... but, I really liked how it turned out, so I went with it! lol! Remember, there are NO mistakes in paper crafting - only 'creative opportunities!' I stamped the border in orange ink and then worked down the paper, changing to red ink towards the bottom. To carry over the color scheme, I colored the sentiment with yellow, orange, and red Copic markers and then used mandarin, maraschino, and lemondrop twines from The Twinery for a bit of embellishment.
