Much Love to you

Hi there!

I'm back with another Layers of Color card to share in honor of the upcoming new release of several stamp sets all themed around Christmas!  Please check out my fellow designer's blogs as you don't want to miss out on their fabulous projects they have already begun to share!

I decided to create a card using my new favorite sentiment stamp set along with The Love Chapter and Flowering Gems to create a 'love' card that could be used for an anniversary, wedding, or even Valentine card.

I stamped the flower in versafine ink on purple card stock and embossed with white embossing powder.  Then, I colored the flower with a couple of Copic markers.  For some reason the coloring lines in my flower look a little harsh on my photo but in person I don't notice the lines at all!  Very strange!

Card Details
Stamps: Ribbon Banners sentiments; The Love Chapter; Flowering Gems (LOC)
Ink: SU colored; Versafine black; Versamark
Card stock: SU and GKD
Other: Spellbinder ribbon banner die; Prima leaves; Copic markers; SU ribbon; My Favorite Things label die; Cuttlebug embossing folder

Before you go, the LOC team would like to invite you and your friends to the Layer of Color Facebook page to ‘like’! If we reach 300 by the party date, we’ll have a special drawing for everyone who ‘liked’ us on Facebook! Also come visit the newest edition to our expanding family, Layers of Color Australia Facebook page, led by Linda Lucas! Come say, “G’day!” and see what these creative Aussies are up to with their Layers of Color art stamps and stencils.

Have a wonderful rest of your day!
Jessica

Jessica this is beautiful - love the colour combination and the way you have used the white panel and ribbon.
