Oh Happy Day Parade

Hi there!

Today's card is another birthday card (remember how I'm building my supply since I'm going back to teaching this fall and need a stash for all the students?) using Layers of Color Polka Dot Parade (LOVE this kid friendly stamp set!) and Happy Wishes stamp sets.  I thought it might be cute to make a little 'parade' of critters, since that's the name of the stamp set, after all!

I stamped each image in black Versafine ink and clear embossed it.  I really like the black ink in the Versafine collection because of the vivid color as well as the excellent coverage it gives with clear stamps.  As you can see, I decided to use paper piecing for embellishing/coloring - it really is a time saver!

Card Details
Stamps: Polka Dot Parade; Happy Wishes (Layers of Color)
Ink: Versafine black
Card stock: PTI white; Echo Park For the Record dp
Other: Black twine from The Twinery; Copic markers; detail clear embossing powder; silver nailheads

Have a wonderful rest of your day!
Jessica
