May 13, 2011
I'm so excited to join several of the designers from The Craft's Meow for a preview of one of the new stamp sets that will be available for purchase May 15. It is called Little Frieda at the Seashore. Little Frieda is walking barefoot in the sand, and comes with a wee birdie and three greetings. After I finished coloring her with Copics, I took my fine tipped Copic Multi-liner black pen and traced over the image lines to help them pop a bit. This is a tip I picked up from a friend and one that I try to do often when I can because I think it makes a huge difference in the finished image.
Stamps: Little Freida at the Seashore (The Craft's Meow)
Paper: PTI white; SU solid; My Minds Eye Stella Rose patterned
Other: Sewing machine; dauber; copics; Wild Orchid flowers; Prima leaves; Spellbinder rectangle and ribbon banners die; MFT sunshine die
I also am excited to announce that I have two card kits that will be available for purchase through The Crafts' Meow on May 15. The first one was designed using Nina Brackett's Simply Delightful stamp set paired with My Mind's Eye Gertie paper and embellishment line. Below is a sneak peek of 4 of the 6 cards. I'll share the full kit photo in a few days...
The next kit was designed using Nina Brackett's Happiness Is stamp set paired with Crate Papers Portrait collection. Once again, there are 6 cards in this kit. All the supplies are included in the kit along with detailed instructions for the card fronts as well as the insides of them.
Please check out The Crafts' Meow store blog for several other designer links who are participating in today's previews. Blogger has been giving us some fits the past few days, so I'm just now able to get my project linked and published - so sorry for the delay!
Be sure to leave a comment on all of the design team blogs so that you'll have more chances of winning Little Frieda at the Seashore for yourself! Three of you will be selected randomly from three of the design team blogs to win this stamp set! You have until tonight at 10:00 pm Pacific to make the rounds. The winner will be announced in tomorrow's post.
You might also want to pop over to Ivana's blog ... she's also got a bit of blog candy going that you just might be interested in (*wink*).
I'll be back tomorrow with another new Freida stamp set that I know you're going to love!
Have a great night!
