Vintage Butterfly

Good evening!

I hope your weekend has been going well so far.  I had the chance to meet a college friend of mine and my sister for lunch and a bit of shopping this afternoon which was really nice.  I even made it home in time to get more done on a project I've been working on (more information about that soon!) so all in all I would call it a good day!

My card today uses the beautiful Layers of Color Joyful Noise butterfly image - love this butterfly!  I used Basic Grey's Curio papers and some lace from Hobby Lobby along with a paper doily to make this relatively quick card.  I didn't want to add much to it to detract from the patterns and textures of the lace, paper, and butterfly.  I left it sentiment-less as well, since it's a pretty generic card.

The inside butterfly image is from the Layers of Color Butterfly Collector stamp set - love all those butterflies too!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!  I'll be back soon with another design team announcement and some photos of another project I've been working on for another one of my favorite stamp companies!
