Flight of Love: LOC sneak peek!

Hi there!

Tonight I have a card I made to share for Layers of Color new release.  There are 2 new cling art stamps and 3 new clear art stamps being released on January 17th and we were invited to begin peeking some projects with the new stamps this week, so here's my first sample!  I was able to use images from two new stamp sets (The Love Chapter and Sent with Love) designed by my amazingly talented friend Nina Brackett as well as one of the new cling art stamps: Warbler.  These new sets are so fun to play with - in fact, I've made several cards already with them and can't wait to share them with you over the next couple of weeks!

We have a fun blog hop event scheduled for January 17th too that you won't want to miss - especially because there are free stamps to be won at the event!

As you can see from my close up of my card, I stamped the bird in red ink on patterned paper and then ran it through my Big Shot with a Sizzix embossing folder.  Then, I took some Tea Dye distresss ink and my daubers and shaded around the edges to highlight the embossing.

Card Details
Stamps: The Love Chapter and Sent with Love clear art stamps; Warbler cling art stamp (Layers of Color)
Card stock: Cosmo Cricket Circa 1938
Ink: Memento black; Distress tea dye; SU red
Other: Sewing machine; Fancy tag nestability; SU oval punch; Punch bunch leaves; Sizzix flourish embossing folder; dauber

and the inside...

Thanks for checking in on me today!  Keep warm and I hope the snow isn't too bad where you are!
