On a Roll... and Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving Eve to my American friends!

I don't have a Thanksgiving themed card to share with you today though.  I'm sharing the card I made for my youngest sister's birthday.  When I saw this adorable stamp set from Inky Antics at the Madison Rubber Stamp convention last week, I knew I had to have it because my sister Rebekah has discovered a new hobby that benefits all of us - baking!

In the past year or so, she has made dozens of cakes for families and friends and has started to build up a name for herself with her cake decorating talents.  I asked her to make a cake for my daughter Ashley's 10th birthday and this is what she made for her...

Isn't it adorable!?  Since Ash's birthday is next Tuesday, we decided to celebrate with my family tomorrow evening.  So, we'll not only have a fabulous traditional Thanksgiving dinner thanks to my mom and her amazing cooking skills, we'll also be feasting on this adorable cake too!  I don't know what my tummy will think of all the treats that will be available tomorrow as I have cut sugar from my diet for almost two months now... lol!  I can't wait to see what I've been missing!

Here's a close up view of the card - I think that is a pretty accurate picture of my sister balancing all the yummy treats she makes for everyone! lol!

Card Details
Stamps: Inky Antics Baking Chefs; MFT birthday sentiments; TCP cooking image and sentiment for inside
Cardstock: GinaK red and white; DCWV Citrus Mat stack
Ink: Memento
Other: SU Ribbon; Copic markers; Stickles; Martha Stewart border punch; Corner chomper corner rounder; buttons

and the inside view...

I used this week's 2 Sketches 4 You for the card front design.  The sketch was just flipped, to help fit my large focal image a bit better.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, my friends!
I'm thankful for YOU coming by and checking in on me today!

this card makes you smile - just adorable!!!
lovin that cake too...myself and a friend also cut out sugar - be careful - it's like once you have sugar again...you cant stop - for real!!! she read somewhere that if you "fall off the no-sugar wagon" then to eat the sweets you wanted in a one hour time span - something about the body will deal with it and the sugar addiction wont kick back in - dont know if that's true because I blow it every time I'm around too much temptation - hang in there LOL
wishing you a wonderful Thanksgiving!
