July Preview Day 2

Welcome back!

Tonight, we are showcasing two more stamp sets that will be available for purchase after the Release party this Thursday night on GinaK Design's online store.  My first card shows Rupa Shevde's new Lawn and Garden stamp set.  I have to thank my friend and co-worker, Shelly Wilson for the awesome layout and inspiration for this card.  Thanks for the inspiration, Shelly!

Instead of Copics, I used Stampin Up's waterbased colored markers to color the focal image and then used some Stardust stickles to highlight the flower centers...

Card Details
Stamps: Lawn and Garden
Ink: Memento
Cardstock: GinaK; DCWV
Other: Felt rick rack; buttons; spellbinders dies; SU markers; stickles

There are some fun images in this stamp set - I can't wait to do some scrapbooking with it!

Next up, is Asela Hopkin's new Pretty as a Peacock stamp set.  These peacock images are stunning and were really fun to play with!  I can't wait to see Asela color these images - she is a Copic genius, you know!

I choose to use the peacock feathers as a background for this small square image, so stamped several feathers on my Polished Stone background.  Recognize this layout and color scheme?  Yep, I used the same basic elements and inks for Theresa's Aloha preview card that I shared yesterday ... lol!

The dots in the focal image are colored with silver Smooch ink - the tiny applicator tool made it a cinch ...

Card Details
Stamps: Pretty as a Peacock
Ink: Stazon; Ranger Alcohol inks
Cardstock: Glossy; GinaK; Basic Grey Sugar Rush
Other: Ranger blending solution, felts; paper flower; rhinestones; Smooch Silver

Now, for even more samples with the stamp sets being previewed tonight, check out these designer's links:
We'd also like to invite you to attend our Release Party this Thursday, July 1st starting at 7 pm central on StampTV! There will be challenges, contest questions, and more samples from our designers on all the new stamp sets being released this month!  We'd love to have you join in on the fun!

Happy Hopping!  Tomorrow night, is the Seeds of Kindness card kit preview as well as Nina's new set... you won't want to miss it!

Jessica, your cards are wonderful! I wish I had your talent for picking design papers to go with your focal point. I can't even tell what it is that makes me like the flower garden one so much, I just do! TFS (The peacock is good, too...of course!)

Wow! I adore those soft garden colors for the flowers. Jessica, the color depth you've brought to the peacock card is so rich! Way to go!
