Good evening!
Tonight several of my friends from GinaK Designs are joining me in featuring my newest Card Kit stamp set called Quite a Catch. Gina put together an amazing stamp set for me to play with for my card kit, you can see the cards for the kit HERE. My cards tonight aren't made with the items in the kit, just the stamp sets.
My first card showcases this adorable goldfish - isn't she cute all blinged up?

Stamps: Quite a Catch; Spring Mix; SU dot wheel
Cardstock: GinaK black, white, turquoise sea, creme de menthe; SU orange
Ink: Memento; Vivid aqua; white
Other: Spellbinder's scallop circle and ribbon tag dies; SU ribbon; sewing machine; embroidery floss; dauber; copics; stickles; distress tool
Next up, is the super cute little "scaredy cat" fish - He cracks me up everytime I look at him! His face says it all...
Don't you just want to give him a hug and reassure him that everything will be okay? lol! I used a clip to imitate a fishing hook and vellum with a dots embossing folder to show bubbles ...

My last card for the hop tonight is kind of fun - it's basically a simple card using the stamps to make some fun background paper...
I stamped all the images and then shaded with some copic markers and a white pencil and/or white gel pen for the eyes. Then, I sponged the edges with aqua ink and sewed the panel to a navy mat.

Jessica, these are just delightful and love your coloring on the images. They are so very cute and GREAT color combos!! Can I just say I LOVE the sponging on the first one with that hint of aqua on the scalloped circle, looks great with the orange. :o)
