Happy Friday!
I just love this rocket from Tami Mayberry's Oh Boy! stamp set paired with this sentiment from GinaK's Eclectic Summer Sayings ~ it's like they are made for each other, aren't they?
I paper pieced the rocket and even got out that sewing machine of mine that I'm thrilled to know how to use now! lol! I wanted to share a close up shot of the clouds for you to see a bit closer. I cut the clouds with Labels 6 nestability dies with white fun foam. Then, I took a distress ink and blending foam and sponged some blue ink (sorry, I can't remember the color right now) on the foam for some shading.
I really liked how it turned out ~ don't you love it when experiments work out the way you wanted them too! For a bit more of a highlight, I went around the cloud shapes with some diamond stickles...
