Count the Waves

Good evening!

Melanie's new Gifts from the Sea stamp set is just gorgeous, isn't it?  This is a card I made to share during the Release party last week - I just LOVE the colors of this card.  That's GinaK's new Turquoise Sea cardstock paired with Ivory and Tan Leather.  They work well together for "beachy" cards, don't you think?

When I'm trying to go for a softer look with my stamped images, I stamp them in Memento Rich Cocoa ink and shade with Copic markers.  I also added a bit of 'age' to the images and the edges of the card with Ranger's Blending Foams and Distress Old Paper and Tea Dye inks.  It's hard to tell with my photos, but there is a light sparkle to the shells that I added with Diamond Stickles - can't stop using those lately either!

Card Details

Cardstock: GinaK Tan Leather, Turquoise Sea, Ivory, October Afternoon
Ink: Distress; Memento
Other: Blending foam; sewing machine, jute ribbon, copics, stickles, distress tool, spellbinders deckled rectangle and plain rectangle dies; clip, twine
