Beautiful Birthday!

Hi!

This card has a funny story. It was meant to be the inside of this card, but after I stamped the word 'beautiful' on the white panel CROOKED! (argh!!), I decided that I had to cover up that boo-boo with it stamped again on another piece of paper straight! lol!    To make it look a bit better, I decided to stamp the word 'beautiful' on patterned paper and pop it up for more interest.

Even more funny, when I finished covering up that mistake, I realized that the white panel was wrong anyway because the card I linked used Ivory card stock... NOT white!  lol!

Has that ever happened to you?  But, I'm a very stubborn stamper and actually like challenges like these - and see, it turned out to be a pretty cool card (at least it is to me! lol!):

Card Details
Stamps: A Beautiful Life; Pressed Flowers
Cardstock: GinaK; DCWV patterned papers
Ink: Versafine black, Vivid
Other: EK Success flower punches; black brads; corner rounder; Punch Bunch fern punch; Pearl brad; Copics; Pearl; Marvy Oval punch

I hope this card inspires you to make your stamping mistakes work for you - lol!  Remember, it's just paper and can always be covered up with MORE paper!  *wink!*

Have a great rest of your night!
Jessica

Oh, Jess! I'm sooooo happy to hear about your mistakes/improv stamping (heeheehee) I've done that so many times, I can't count them. Thanks for the expose....it was "comforting". ;0)
