Preview Day 2: Pressed Flowers and O Baby

Happy Monday!

First of all, I have to wish my husband Brad a happy HAPPY birthday today!!  He's such a gift to my family and I and we are so blessed to have him in our lives!!  You may already be aware of this too, but it's also Gina's birthday today!  So, happy birthday to Gina too!!

Now, back to business - tonight we are previewing a couple more stamp sets that will be available Thursday night from GinaK Designs.  My first card was made with Melanie Muenchinger's new Pressed Flowers set.  Do those flowers look familiar to you?

They should because the Pressed Flowers stamp set was designed by Melanie to be a companion set to her  popular A Year of Flowers set! It is also a perfect stand alone set as each bold stamp image lends itself to many techniques as you will see on each designer's blogs tonight!  I choose to ink the flowers and leaves in two different Vivid inks and stamp on white cardstock.  I also versamarked and clear embossed them before cutting to really help the colors pop.

Card Supplies
Stamps: Pressed Flowers, Say it with Flowers
Cardstock: GinaK White & black; Theresa Momber Wings of Hope
Ink: Vivid; Memento; Versamark
Other: Labels 4 & regular labels nestabilities;  clear embossing powder; silver cording; pearls; black brads

Next, we're showing off Rupa Shevde's new stamp set called Oh Baby - just look at these adorable images she has in this new set!

I packed 4 images on this circle shaped card - they each were colored with Copic markers...

Here's the inside - as you can see, I trimmed off an edge along the bottom of the scallop card.  That's so that it will stand up straight.

Card Details
Stamps: Oh Baby
Cardstock: GinaK white, pink, brown; patterned yellow
Ink: Black memento; Copics
Other: Sizzix scallop circle; jute; ribbon; button; scor tape

My last photo tonight is a sneak peek of the new Card Kit I designed for this month's special stamp set called Spring Florals.   I'll share more details about the stamp set and card kit tomorrow night, but since Suzanne is sharing her sample tonight that she made with the Spring Florals stamp set, I thought I'd get in on the fun!

Are you ready for even more ideas and inspiration with tonight's stamp sets!?

Then, start with the Illustrator of the Pressed Flowers stamp set Melanie Muenchinger and then visit these designer's blogs for even more samples with her stamp set and Rupa Shevde's Oh Baby Stamp set as well!

This flower set is a must. I have a tutorial I saw using a similar flower stamp that I have been wanting to try. YOUR card reminded me of that technique I saw many months ago and want to try. Your baby card is full of all kinds of new baby goodies! Darling!
