Happy Hearts Blog Hop

Happy Friday!

Tonight is another GinaK blog hop - this time we're showing off Tami Mayberry's Happy Hearts stamp set! I have some interesting cards to share tonight for the hop - this first one is my favorite. You'll see that I was having fun with chipboard with all three of my cards that I'm sharing tonight.

I just inked the outer edges of the solid heart image with a couple of purple Versamagic inks and then stamped it. It's such a fun look, don't you think?

Card Details
Stamps: Happy Hearts, Sung from the Heart
Papers: GinaK white & black
Ink: Versamagic Purple inks; Memento Black
Other: Chipboard frame, Nestability Square dies: plain & Scallop; EK Success heart punches; Cuttlebug dots folder; paper piercer; Bind-it All 1/2" Corner Rounder; SU Word Window punch; Basic Grey button; Prima & rhinestone brad

Now the next two cards, are rather interesting because I decided to play with an very non-traditional paper pack with Tami's heart images. The papers are from Basic Grey's Eerie pack - you know, the ones designed for Halloween... how non-traditional can you get, right?

Judge for yourself, to see if you like them - me, I'm not sure... but I had fun playing with the papers and trying to make the 'lovey' ...

Card Details
Paper: GinaK, Basic Grey Eerie
Ink: Versamagic Chalk inks; Memento Black, Brilliance Red Copper ink, Distress Inks
Other: Chipboard frame, crystal lacquer, EK Success heart punch & postage stamp, Clear embossing powder, Bind-it All 1/2" corner rounder, sponge dauber, paper piercer, Basic Grey button

My last card has some things I LOVE about it, but one thing that I don't like is what happened when I hit the heart just a bit too long with the heat tool - so try to ignore the heat bubbles... lol!

I haven't had a chance to switch it out - but I probably will before I give it away... lol! I was in a very 'scrappy' mood when I made this card - and I'm not really sure who I would give this to, but it was fun to make!
