Cool Beans!

Good morning!

I've been MIA for a few days because we have been having so much fun at the Madison Rubber Stamp convention this weekend! Lots of people have stopped by Gina K's booth to say hi. If you're coming today, be sure to pop and in and get an awesome coupon sheet for the store that is good during the month of December!

Gina and I have been demoing Copic Markers and Koh-i-noor pencils. Rupa kept busy showing how easy nestabilities are to use in the Cuttlebug while Shelly manned the cash register yesterday. Today, Karen joins us - so the whole crew has been having fun together!

Today's post has to be another short one, since I'm on my out the door to pick up some more things at the store to take to the convention center. But, I wanted to share these cards that I showed during Gina's release party because Rupa's Cuppa Joe stamp set has been so popular! I don't even drink coffee and I LOVE it!

On both of these cards, I paper pieced the coffee cups with some fun K&Co. paper. Then, I used the Clear Rhinestones to highlight the first cup. Notice the pink glow? That's from a red copic marker that I used to color them. The rhinestones don't take the color very well - but it left a perfect pink color, which is exactly what I was going for.

I have a Coaster Class this Tuesday at Gina's store. I have not had a chance to take a photo of it yet, but it's at the Show with us, so if you're stopping by today be sure to check it out. There are still some openings for both the afternoon and evening class. Hopefully I'll get photos today and add them to my blog a little later.

Have a great day!
Jessica

Both of these are very "cool", Jessica! I just adore paper-piecing ... and the paper you've chosen for the cups creates such a fancy & fun look!

I was beginning to worry about you because you weren't posting in any of the usual places. Glad it is just work :) or Play!!!
I love these cards that you did. I just got My Cuppa Joe on Sat. I have made two cards, not as cute as your though.
