So Grateful

Have you had a chance to participate in my Waste not, Want not challenge yet? I'm not meaning to be a nag, just wondering... heehee!

Here's a card that I shared during Gina's release party. I used my challenge as a spring board for this card. Because these amazing Black Market Papers are double sided, it takes the guess work out of following this challenge.

Here's the inside of my card....

Just a few details that I wanted to mention...

* First, the flowers are not stamps, but are cut out from another piece of paper from this Lucky in Love paper pack. I cut several out and glued them to my paper. I stitched mini buttons on the centers with DMC cream floss.

* I stamped the pumpkins from Rupa's So Grateful stamp set on 3 different patterned papers and cut them out. When I stamped them, I stamped in Versafine Black ink and clear embossed it. It helps the stamp lines to really pop and shine on the textured patterned papers.

* The word 'cherish' is the paper - not a stamp! How cool, huh?

* When I use corner punches, I always adhere them to my cards with pop dots because I like the dimension it gives.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you get a chance to share you Waste Not, Want Not card with us on Splitcoast Stampers. The deadline is Friday at 11 am.

Have a great rest of your day!
Jessica
