So Many Scallops

Happy Sunday!

Today's cards were made with Stampin Up's Sellabration Stamp Set called So Many Scallops. I paired it with Nursery Necessities and Basic Backgrounds because I wanted to add Stampin Up's Star punches with it. I love to use coordinating products, don't you? They made embellishing so easy!

The first two cards are basically the same. I used the first card at one of my Stampin Up classes during Sellabration and the second one at a Stamp a Stack this Spring.

The scalloped edge on both cards was made with my Fiskars SeaGull Scissors. I LOVE this pattern because it has the perfect sized scallop for me to use my Fiskars Handheld shape punches to decorate. The mini point is perfect for paper piercing too. It's little things that these that make me happy when I'm papercrafting!

This last card isn't a favorite one of mine - I like the idea of it, but wasn't too impressed with how it turned out. Maybe I should have made the scallop circle a light yellow or orange to simulate the sun instead of a cloud (which is what I was going for). But, I thought I'd share it anyway since I designed it at the same time as the other cards. Not every card is a masterpiece, right?

This past week was a busy one for me! I was able to teach 3 different mini scrapbook classes at Gina's store. On Monday night, we had a fun flip book class. I wasn't feeling well, but the ladies didn't seem to mind! They were quick students and had some awesome ideas for decorating and embellishing their books. I loved watching everyone put their own touches on the materials we provide for them.

Then, on Friday and Saturday, I had two different Star Book Classes. Thankfully, I was feeling better and was even able to make a book right along with the ladies to have a few more samples in the store. I love it when I can create right along with everyone else! My Saturday Star book is almost finished. I'll finish it up today and share it with you tomorrow.

I want to say a big thank you to everyone who has taken classes with me at Gina's store. It has been fun getting to know so many new friends who share this love of papercrafting! You guys are the best. You make my job such a joy!
