Happy Friday! Today's post is a quick one filled with several cards that I have made with the adorable Stampin Up set Pun Fun. I love all the images in it!
You can probably tell that I made these cards around the same time as the Tart-n-Tangy cards I shared with you yesterday. When I find a layout that works for me, I'll crank out several batches of cards to have on hand.
All the patterned paper is from Die Cuts with a View - the Nana's Nursery boy pack and the Nana's Kid pack. I like to buy the 8x8 cardstock packs and cut the paper to 4x4 so I can get 4 cards out of each piece. The solid colored cardstocks are Stampin Up.
Lots of paper punches were used to decorate these cards - Marvy Scallops & Plain shapes; SU Stars & 3 Flower Punch, and EK Success Stars; Fiskars Handheld Stars to name a few. I also used some of my favorite Fiskars Decorative scissors - Seagull and large Scallops.
Around some of the squares, I took my fine tip black journaler and drew my own lines - I love the look these little lines add to my main images.
When I was working on these cards, I made at least 4 cards with each image from this stamp set. At one of my Stampin Up classes, I let everyone go through my box and choose a couple of these cards to take as a thank you for coming. It's fun to see which ones everyone chooses.
I love to mass produce cards, but I like to mix it up when I'm making my projects - so I rarely stick to the same exact elements on each cards. Some of the images are paper pieced while others were colored with Koh-i-noor Pencils, OMS, and blending stumps. I also added Crystal Lacquer to highlight some images for shine - I'm rather addicted to the stuff!
Have a great rest of your day!
Jessica
