Thank You, Friend.

Good morning!

My cards today are a sampling of some thank you cards that I recently made to give to my Stampin Up customers for their class orders. The main image uses one of the hostess sets from the Spring Summer Catalog and the stamp set Bitty Birthday - I love this adorable little set! I think they go perfectly together.

I made a bunch of these cards one day all using different papers from my various scrap drawers. I have one drawer for each of Stampin Up's color family - so it's really easy to dig through when I'm making projects. Whenever these drawers get a little too full, I'll sit down and make a bunch of cards just like these ones that I can either have on hand to give out to my customers or to give as gift sets! I love the challenge of trying to make the colors and scrap sizes all work together with my Cuttlebug & paper punches.

So, to help thin down my scrap drawers one day, I took my SU 3 Flower paper punch and punched lots *and I mean LOTS!!* of the little pieces of cardstocks from all of SU's color families to make my own bottle of 'Primas' - ready to use on all my projects. That punch took a beating that day - as did my hand!!

I ended up with 6 bottles of flowers - Bold Brights, Soft Subtles, Earth Elements, Rich Regals, In Colors, Neutrals. The bottles were from a Prima Flower set I bought several years ago. I dumped all those flowers into one of my drawers to make it easier to sort through.

I use these bottles all the time! When I am scrapbooking or cardmaking for myself, I use Stampin Up's Cardstock almost exclusively, so this works great for me. I did find that the new Boho Blossoms flowers are a little tight for this size bottle, so I don't have many of those flowers in these bottles. I think some larger glass bottles may be in my future - especially since SU just released the new In Colors for '08 and I don't have any more bottles! LOL!

Thanks for stopping by!

Jessica

What a neat idea with the little flowers! Even if you dont use them all up, they still look gorgeous in the bottles! LOL! Love your cards, even your 'simple' cards are amazing!

That first card is beautiful, the colors, the wide borders, the dots. Love it all! Great idea for the little flower punchies. And they look so cute.
