Aren't these fish cute? They were just begging to be popped up and embellished with googlie eyes! I'm so sad that Stampin Up is retiring these fish just a month after I finally bought it, but it will be fun to see what their new catalog will offer in it's place.
I had a hard time getting good photos of these cards - the colors seem so dark to me on my computer screen... sorry about that!
As you have probably noticed, I've been using a lot of similar colors and embellishments on several of my most recent cards. When I sit down to stamp, I usually make several different kinds of cards with the same products. I like to experiment to see the different kinds of looks I can acheive with a variety of stamps.
I finally cleaned off my table to make some Christmas cards in preparation for my upcoming GinaK Designs Christmas Stamp a Stack classes. Get ready for Christmas in July because I'm going to share them with you over the next few days!
The Copic Class today was fun. We learned a couple of fun tips for some really neat special effects that I'm excited to try out with my markers soon. I want to practice with some of the shading tips we learned and experiment with the variety of papers we were given to work with. Marianne is such an artist - her portfolio books of her coloring were amazing.
It was a great day hanging out with Gina and Alicia and lots of stampers from Splitcoast. Hi, to everyone I met today and thanks for the great road trip, Girls!
Have a great night!
Jessica
