Good evening!
I thought I'd take a break from Christmas cards tonight and share a card I made recently with some awesome new flowers Gina added to her store a couple of months ago... isn't it gorgeous? Another recent find that I LOVE is the flower center. It's from Stampin Up, in case you were wondering. I put a light green rhinestone brad in the center.
The flowers matched perfectly with this new Stampin Up paper pack (Unfortunately I don't have my catalog in front of me to remember what the name of it is... sorry!!). The card base is Baja Breeze and the sentiment is on River Rock - a color I still LOVE and am sad is a retired SU color.
I stamped the sentiment from GinaK's Free with Three set Tree Silhouettes in black ink and then cut out a long rectangle nestability shape. To add more shading, I took my sponge dauber and sponged river rock ink around the edges.
You can tell I took this photo awhile ago... we now have snow in our backyard with more coming tonight. Uggh...winter in Wisconsin... yuck! But, the kids love it and go to bed each night praying for a snowday - or at least enough snow to play outside in!
Have a great night - and keep warm!
Jessica
