TCM: September Release blog hop

Hi there!

Welcome to The Craft's Meow September release blog hop!  If you arrived on my blog from Jennie's blog, you're right on track.  If not, please consider starting at the beginning so you don't miss out on anything!

I have three cards for today's hop, using several of the new stamp sets that are now available for purchase.  My first card uses the new Rustic Greetings (Deer head) along with a sentiment from the new Speaking of Fall stamp set.  I was thinking of all those guys we know who live for deer hunting season when I made this card.

Card Details
Stamps: Speaking of Fall, Rustic Greetings (TCM)
Ink: Versafine; PTI white
Card stock: My Mind's Eye patterned; PTI solid
Other: PTI impression plate; cappuccino baker's twine from The Twinery; SNSS bookmark die; PTI notebook die cut; Corner notch punch from WeRMemory keepers; Distress markers and SU marker spritzer

My next card uses the new Chalkboard Faith stamp set - once again, stamped in Versafine ink, embossed with clear embossing powder and colored with distress inks and water.  Love this sentiment.

Card Details
Stamps: Chalkboard Faith (TCM)
Ink: Versafine; Distress

Card stock: PTI solid; watercolor; My mind's Eye patterned
Other: SU taffeta ribbon; wild orchid rose; doily; PTI impression plate; Detail clear embossing powder

My last card uses the new Autumn Border and the Rustic Greetings (for the sentiment).  Instead of coloring the image in this time, I stamped it in smokey slate ink and let the image 'speak' for itself.  I think it works quite nicely on its own, don't you?

Card Details
Stamps: Rustic Greetings; Autumn Borders (TCM)
Ink: PTI smokey slate; Versafine black

Card stock: PTI solid and patterned; My Mind's Eye orange patterned
Other: SU paper punches; doily; corner rounder; SU orange taffeta; My Favorite Things large scallop border

Next up on the hop today is the fabulous Jinny!

Be sure to leave comments along the way on the hop for your chance to win some TCM goodness for yourself!  You can find all the information and links on the TCM blog.

Happy hopping!
Jessica

  25. Card 1 has a nice design and I like the spritz of color and embossing. Card 2 is also beautiful with the doily, ribbon and sweet flower. I really like the water color effect. Card 3 I like the scallops with the ribbon and the doily for the sentiment background. The stamp is pretty enough to stand on its own. Super job!
