Good morning!
Welcome back to day 3 of the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps August release blog hops! Today we are featuring an awesome frame stamp set that Korin designed to coordinate with the beautiful Decorative Plaque die collection... a set I've been waiting for for ever since she released the dies! Yay - thank you, Korin!

For my first card, I stamped die cut my favorite shaped plaque out of patterned paper and stamped the coordinating frame in blue chalk ink and then stamped the sentiment in black Versafine ink. For some embellishments, I used the beautiful New Beginnings and coordinating die for a butterfly.
For my second card, I used another plaque with the coordinating frame and stamped the owl image from Bookmark Bits & Pieces, which I paper pieced and shaded with Copic markers. Then, I stamped the 'love' sentiment on a banner from the Pennants & More die collection and added some doodles around the banner as well as on a couple of hearrts from the Heart die collection.

Jessica, I love your cards today. I am blessed when I see a card made like this. And I continue to learn . Beautiful complimentary paper for the panel and decorative frame. They are just the right size for the sentiments. Here's something I was thinking of: There are many older women in church, our neighborhoods who would appreciate that larger font size. A card such as this would bless their hearts good! Love the lace (beautiful touch).

Love how you used the word stamp on the pennant die and doodled a frame around it & the hearts!! I had scrolled down looking for the stamp set you had used to do that, here you did it yourself!

ReplyDeleteBoth cards are wonderful! The butterflies and polka dots are just so sweet and the owl card is adorable! Love the tags, and the sentiments are so pretty themselves - I also like the larger size.
