Trio of Froggie Wishes....

Good morning!

I have been working on making some thank you cards to send out for Christmas gifts. This particular card is going out to Brad's aunt and uncle who bought some fun art projects gifts for our kids at Christmas. Aunt Dee collects frogs, so I was drawn to these fun little Hero Arts froggies to use for her card.

I stamped the frogs and snowflakes on Stampin Up's Textured Whisper White cardstock with Black Versafine ink and detail clear embossed over it. Then, I colored with a variety of copic markers. I usually use GinaK's Pure Luxury smooth cardstock to color with Copics, but was pleasantly surprised at how cute these guys turned out with Copics on the textured cardstock.

To highlight the snowflakes, I put a clear rhinestone in each center and traced a light blue copic around the lines to help them pop even more. The frogs are sitting in a little snowbank which was made with white liquid applique and dazzling diamonds glitter heated to make puffy.

Here's the inside view....

Have a great day - thankfully we were above zero today in Stoughton! It felt like summer around here... sad, I know! But, at 20 degrees today and -25 yesterday morning... we were 45 degrees 'warmer' today!
