Clear Box Gift Class Project

Hi!

Thank you for all your get well wishes... I'm feeling better, thank goodness! Not 100% yet, but much better than earlier in the week - that's for sure!

Did you see Gina's post today? I'm so surprised that the photo I took of her even turned out... because I was laughing so hard!!! Picture our tiny Gina hauling out all those boxes with her faithful 'dolly' to help her out. I got there at 8:30 and she only had 3 boxes left to take outside! Usually I'm the first one in in the morning... but the boxes had to get outside ready for the pickup today and we didn't know when the truck was coming. When Gina gets her mind made up to do something... watch out! LOL!

You cruising gals (and NO, I'm NOT one of them... even though Shelly keeps waiting for the 'big announcement' that we're all getting to go as our early Christmas gift from Gina! LOL!!!) are going to DIE when you see what you're getting in your gift bags, let alone all the fabulous projects Gina - and Nichole & Emily/Nikki - will be teaching you!! We are all so jealous and excited for you and can't wait to hear how it all goes!!

Think of us - Shelly, Karen, Judy, and myself when you are making Gina's projects and opening your gift bags... lots of time went into everything from everyone here at GinaK Designs! I had the privilege of cutting most of the thousands of pieces of cardstock for your projects and even got to cut out 104 stamp sets (8 brand new stamp sets & 13 of each for her to use for her class projects) on Wednesday that you'll be using during her class times! Yep, I have a nasty blister on my middle finger... but if I hadn't used my very favorite Tim Holtz scissors, I'm sure I wouldn't have even been able to do it!

So, needless to say it was a very happy day at GinaK Designs today seeing all those boxes at the curb waiting to be picked up! The store has looked like a crazy warehouse for many months - it actually looks naked now! heehee...

Even though Gina leaves next week for the cruise, we still have lots going on at the store! Today, I'm sharing the Gift Card set that I did for the Release party last week showcasing Rupa's Beautiful new Christmas set, The Magic of Christmas. We'll be making these 4 cards next Thursday at my Clear Gift Box class. We'll be decorating the Clear Box with White Opaque Stazon. You'll also get to take home one of each of the 3 sizes of Clear boxes we sell - as part of your class fee of $20. Remember, if you spend $50 the day of your class, you receive $10 off your class fee.

I've already highlighted these last few cards along with the box in another post, but I wanted to include all the photos for reference to anyone who is interested in attending the class.
We'll be using Nestabilities, our new Sateen Flowers & Holiday Pure Luxury Ribbon, Clear Rhinestone Stickers, Detail Embossing Powder, and my favorite Niji waterbrush along with Peerless watercolors to watercolor the images. For the dove, we'll use Copic markers, since she's so delicate and beautifully white. So, not only will you get to make an elegant set of cards to keep or give as a gift, but you'll learn some techniques as well!

I have 2 class times available on Thursday, October 16th: 11-1 or 5:30-7:30. Call the store at 608 579-1027 to sign up. I'd love to stamp with you!

Have a great night & thank you for stopping by!
Jessica
