Hi!
Here's my Blog Candy that I promised in yesterday's post!! I'm sorry the photo is a little grainy ... it's getting darker so much earlier now - I hate it! But I think you can see all the goodies I'm giving away pretty well.
I have a new unmounted Stampin Up's Fresh Notes Stamp set along with the matching notecard & envelopes. In addition to the Stampin Up goodies, I also have a package of 1/8" ScorPal Tape, the Bird & Vine Cuttlebug Embossing Folder and an Emaginations Flourish Square punch to give away. Pretty good stuff - all some of my favorites!
To enter to win my blog candy, please leave a comment on this post telling me what your current favorite coloring medium is. Mine changes a lot because I love EVERYTHING - as those who know me would well attest to! But, right now I'm in LOVE with Copic Markers. My second favorite would be anything to do with watercoloring: Peerless Watercolors or reinkers. But ask me next week, and it will probably be Koh-i-noor Colored Pencils and OMS. heehee....
Anyway, tell me your favorite way to color your stamped images - I'd love to hear what you love! Be sure to enter your comment by Thursday, October 16th at 10 p.m.
Good luck!
Jessica

Sweet candy! I'm using alcohol markers the most right now. I have Bics, Sharpies, and a few Copics. I just tried baby oil with prismacolors, though, and I loved it! Worked better than OMS for me!
ReplyDeleteWow! What awesome Blog candy Jessica! I waaaaannnt it! LOL! So glad you are feeling better too! Mine favorite coloring medium goes back and forth between the koh-i-noor pencils with OMS and copics...and then I even use them together, lol!
ReplyDeletei'm open to any and everything but for the most part Prisma color pencils with babyoil is my thing. I'd love to try the gliter chalks again.
ReplyDeleteHello! I use Derwent Watersouble ink pencils and I like it:)
ReplyDeleteI love Copics, but I don't have many - so I usually use my watercolor pencils :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried many, so I guess mine would be Prisma pencils....
ReplyDeleteI love the watercolor pencils. I just got the peerless watercolors and can't wait to try them. I love your blog! You are so talented!

I love my Koh-i-noor pencils but I love my Prismacolors too :) I usually use them together - then the possibilities are endless!
ReplyDeleteGreat blog candy, thanks for the chance.
Hey Jessica - (Love the name BTW, as that is my DD's name!) I love using regular old SU markers to color. The colors match and look great and it's quick and easy.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite way to stamp images is with WWC and blender pens - I like 140 lb watercolor paper the best!
ReplyDeleteGreat blog candy!
I love watercoloring with my SU inks! I also use copics.
ReplyDeleteThat's some great candy you are offering. I really do enjoy your daily posts. Thanks for sharing your talents with us. My current favorites are Prismacolor and Koh-I-Noor pencils. Haven't tried Copics yet.
ReplyDeleteI still have to go with my water color crayons! They work best for me!
ReplyDeleteCindy
Hmm, those Primsas and OMS are my favs, but I would love to have Copics someday!
ReplyDeleteI just love your blog, Jessica! You give so many inspiring ideas and have such a knack for explaining techniques.
Jessica,
ReplyDeleteI never used to color at all. I am a hobby Stampin' Up! demo and have started to use the aqua painters and blender pens. I love to watercolor with the aqua painters. I find that I can control the amount of ink by how wet the brush is and get several depths from one color. I have other coloring mediums, but right now I'm having fun with this. I just found your blog and think it's great. Can't wait to start visiting every day.
Thanks, Jeneen
Jessica! This is tough - mine changes too. When ever I see a really kool card, or something that gives me inspiration using a certain medium.... hmmm, I would say most of the time, my favorite is markers - because you can use them with bold stamps, color right on the stamp, or color in an open stamp.
ReplyDeleteThanks for a chance to win.
Take care and STAY POSITIVE!
I love seeing what you do with the copics, but I'm still intimidated by the price and the skill level needed for these. I am really enjoying watercolors right now, but I still live my pencils and oms.
ReplyDeleteI love the copic markers also. They make everything look so amazing.
ReplyDeletesullyscrapandstamp@hotmail.com
First I have heard of the ScorPal tape. Can you tell me how it's used???
ReplyDeleteLove your blog and the samples you have posted.
I love using Primas or Koh-I-Nor pencils because they give a softer look than the markers do.
ReplyDeleteI love all the different projects you do and love coloring. I have a few Copics, and would really love to get some more one day.
Maggie
Wonderful Blog Candy Jessica! Right now y favorite coloring medium are my copic ciao's. But watercolor pencils are my second favorite.
ReplyDeleteI love to try so many coloring techniques. I love using copics lately, but I still do pull out my pencils and OMS.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance
Love to visit your blog everyday to see another great project. Your coloring is always wonderful. My favorits coloring medium is Koh-i-noor pencils and OMS, but I want to try the Peerless water colors soon.
ReplyDeleteHi Jessica. Love your site and your email posts. I get lots of great ideas from you. Thanks. I love to color with EVERYTHING I have!! I spend way too much time creating my cards because I spend a lot of time coloring. I don't know how to make a simple card, lol. I've been experimenting with my Copics lately and having a great time. Thanks for the opportunity for the blog candy.
ReplyDeleteDiane
Right now my favorite coloring medium is watercoloring with my reinkers and Niji waterbrush. Thanks for the chance at this awesome candy!
ReplyDeleteAll of your uses of the different "mediums" are so inspiritional-I have learned so much and use all of them. It's a toss-up everytime as to what is the day's favorite! Having so much fun. Thanks
ReplyDeleteI enjoy a lot of mediums to colour with, and to get the colours to match, I often take the colour off an ink pad, but I think my favourites are still the twinkling
ReplyDeleteH2O's, with watercolours coming a close second.
Thank you for your generosity, both in your teaching on your blog and in this blog candy give away.
I'm still trying to master my Prisma pencils. I have a lot to learn yet about shading and blending, but I'm trying!

ReplyDeleteHi Jessica, I have checked out your site from head to toe. :-) You have some beautiful samples that have inspired me. As a new stamper, I enjoy looking at what other people have made to get my creative juices flowing.
ReplyDeleteI guess I would have to say, I like coloring with SU crayons or markers. I always enjoyed coloring from childhood on, and what a great way to continue without being made fun of. haha
I have bookmarked your site and will be checking it a lot. Thanks again for taking the time to help people like me.
Prismacolor pencils are what I grab most consistently. I do like it all but it depends on the image I'm working on and the look I want.
ReplyDeleteThanks for such a great blog package.
Thanks for a chance to win some great candy and I don't even have to dress in a costume..lol. Even though I have purchased some copics, I am not an expert at them. My favorite coloring medium is my embossing markers. I just love the colors of them.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jessica. Great blog candy! Right now my fav is prismacolors and OMS. I love your blog! You've given me some great ideas!! Christar
ReplyDeleteMy favorite coloring medium right now would be watercolors, H2Os, etc., but tomorrow that could change! Maybe alcohol inks....:)
ReplyDeleteKaren V.
My favorite coloring technique, right now is Prisma Pencils and OMS. I just got off a watercolor crayon kick, so my favorite changes all the time too. I AM wishing (very hard) for some copics. I wish they weren't so darn expensive. Anyhoo, Christmas is coming...maybe!

ReplyDeleteI'm like you Jess. I have a different favorite each week. Lately I've been coloring with Prismacolor markers that I purchased recently. I've also been coloring with reinkers and a watercolor brush. The watercolor brush and reinkers seems to be my favorite.
ReplyDeleteColoring scares me! I never know where to shade and highlight etc...
ReplyDeleteBut I do use my aqua painter and re-inkers a lot. Gorgeous work, great blog!
right now my favorite is prismacolor pencils and OMS... but tomorrow that may change...
ReplyDeleteI'm new to watercoloring, but so far I like using my Prismacolor pencils. I enjoy using the reinkers with an aquapainter, but I don't have all the colors yet.
ReplyDeleteThanks for offering candy!
What great blog candy! For a long while I just used watercolor pencils with an aquapen, but lately I have been collecting Prismacolor markers, and love the bold pop I get with them.
ReplyDeleteLovey your blog Jessica!!! My ALL time favorite coloring medium is watercoloring. I love using SU! reinkers or Ranger Reinkers. Fun! Fun!
ReplyDeleteThanks for a chance to win some yummy candy!
I think I came out of my mother's womb with a crayola crayon in hand!!! HeHe! I LOVE to color and the best thing about going to school was buying a new box of crayola crayons with the pencil sharpener in the back of the box.
ReplyDeleteSince becoming a big girl(I'll be 50 in May) I have to say that I love my SU watercolor crayons, my twinkling h20's, prisma pencils and chalks and I'm getting ready to order some Peerless Watercolor pages this week. I love it all!
Thanks for the wonderful blog candy and such an informative site!
Blessings,
Debbie
Great blog candy!
ReplyDeleteI'm into quick and easy techniques, so inking the edges is about as complicated as I get. I'd love to learn different techniques, though.
Since I have had someone special, (Jessica), introduce me to all the possibilities I have enjoyed changing it up and using each of the mediums. Thanks for opening my eyes and wallet to all the possibilities! My favorite lately is the copics. I am really enjoying using them as I work on improving my coloring skills!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I like candy!
Great Blog Candy... how very generous of you! Right now, my favorite mediums are the Koh-I-Noor colored pencils and OMS. They blend so smoothly and the colors are very vibrant! I still wish I had Copics tho! lol
