TCM: October Release blog hop

Hi there!

Today's the day - all the new stamps we've been featuring on The Craft's Meow designer's blogs this week are now available for purchase right HERE!

To celebrate, we're having a blog hop showing off more with the new stamp sets.  If you've been following along on the hop, you should have arrived here from my good friend Jennie's blog.  If not, consider starting at the beginning so you don't miss out on any of the samples the team has prepared for you.  Leave comments along the way for a fun prize (more information on that on TCM's blog).

For my first card, I used a couple of new stamp sets: Under the Tree (presents and little girl) and  Christmas Lantern (sentiment).

Card Details
Stamps: Under the Tree; Christmas Lantern (TCM)
Ink: Stampin Up; Memento; Versafine
Card stock: Lawn Fawn patterned; Vellum; SU
Other: Copics; My Mind's Eye candy dots; PTI grid lines impression plate and heart die; Darcy woodgrain embossing folder; SU ruffled ribbon; Corner rounder; Seaweed baker's twine

My next card is pretty simple.  I love this winter patterned paper pack from Carta Bella's last year's Christmas line.  I can't find it online to link it... but all their papers are fabulous!  I used the new Holiday Poinsettia (for the peace.love.joy sentiment) and the Inside Christmas to embellish one of the journaling cards included in the paper pack.  The 25 card is also from the paper pack.  If I wanted to mail this card, I'd probably remove the two roses because although they are pretty sweet, I know they aren't very 'mail-worthy.'

Next up on today's hop is the fabulous Jinny!

Happy Hopping!
Jessica

  15. I like the design of both cards. The embossing on card 1 is so pretty and your stamp is colored and shaded beautifully. I like the stamping across the top of card 2. So sad the roses are not post friendly but I think this card would be beautiful without them too. I like the way you did the sentiment. Great job!

  17. Very cool cards. My favorite is the second. Good advice about the roses. The sorting machines would not like that at all.
