Welcome to The Craft's Meow July Release blog hop!

If you haven't started the hop yet, consider starting at the beginning so you don't miss out on any of the inspiration. Leave comments on each stop along the way for a chance to win the entire release for yourself!
My first card uses the sweet new Turtle Love stamp set. I stamped the balloon and butterflies on a tag die cut, adding the tiny little polka dot image that Mindy included in the set... how cute is that!? I colored everything with Copics, added the sentiment and then added straight lines around the entire tag and the scallop border for interest. I added just a bit of stitch lines to break up the solid lines just a bit. A very fun and easy birthday card to add to my stash for a sweet little girl!
My next card uses Mindy's other new stamp set for our release - Hogs & Kisses. I paper pieced the pig in the same polka dot paper I used on my first card and added just a line on one side with my pink Copic marker. I cut her out and added her right over the mud puddle with a pop dot. The sentiment is perfect - I teach K4 and K5 and this is exactly how one of my little guys says, 'so sorry' - 'sow sowwy' lol! love it!
I colored my doily with a brown chalk ink to add to the 'mud' theme. I love to used doilies on my card because they are a cheap (I buy them in bulk on Etsy), easy to color with inks, and literally no work to cut out and add to my cards! I'm usually very linear with my cards - lots of straight lines, so a fancy 'circle' die cut is usually my go-to embellishment of late!
I added a little curly tail with some soft blossom baker's twine and a glue dot. Fun!
Next up on the hop is Jinny!
