SNSS: Majestic Monarch Butterflies

Good morning!

Haven't this week's Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps July Release blog hops been fun?  I've loved visiting my fellow designers' blogs to see what they've been working on with the new products for July.  Today, we are showcasing the beautiful new Majestic Monarchs stamp set.  I love the variety of sizes of butterflies Korin included in this stamp set along with the sentiments.  She also hits it out of the ballpark with her sentiments, I think.

For my first card I went with a cool aqua, and yellow color scheme.  I fussy cut the butterflies out and mounted them with pop dots.  Then, I added some black glitter to the centers of my butterflies... which I didn't realize when I took the photo that some of the glitter was still on the card.  Oh, the joys of glitter, right??

My next card uses similar colors - can you tell I am in love with aqua right now!?  This time I used it paired with purple - a color I don't use very often.  The sentiment is from the new Faith stamp set.  I fussy cut one of the butterflies this time leaving off the antennae.  I stamped the butterfly again on the patterned paper and then popped it up.  Once again, I added some black glitter to the centers - and once again it left remnants on the card that I didn't see until I took the photograph!  My eyes aren't what they used to be... lol!
