SNSS: Celebrate Today

Good morning!

Today, the designers from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps begin sharing the cards we've been working on with July's release.  All the products are available for purchase right now, right here!

You may be interested in the July Bundle, because seriously, this release is one of Korin's best!

Today's featured stamp set is called Celebrate Today and includes some beautiful silhouette flowers and the most uplifting sentiments I've seen in a stamp set in quite awhile.  I LOVE it and know you're going to be very inspired when you see everyone's cards today.

I stamped the flowers in versamark ink and rubbed shimmer chalk over them for a soft feel.  The shimmer is very subtle but pretty in person.  I used a light pink marker and my old SU marker spritzer for some delicate dots around the flowers and then added a sentiment in black ink for a definite pop.

The background on my card was made with Vellum and an impression plate.  I love the soft look of vellum a lot lately so it seemed a good fit with this delicate stamp set.  I used some pink shimmer twine for my ribbon treatment and tucked a heart pin into the knot for interest.

My second card uses one of the new Delicate doily border dies for an embellishment to my 4.25 x 4.25 card.  I used the new Delightful Doilies stamp set on this card, stamping the doilies in versamark ink and embossing with white embossing powder and then rubbing coordinating ink over the embossing to help it pop a bit.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set - I love those fonts together, don't you?

Some copper nailheads and gold shimmer twine were all the embellishments this card needed to finish it off.

Here's the details about today's featured products from Korin:

Your cards are wonderful. I love the softness of the shimmer and vellum on your first card and the white against the orangy coral color is eye catching.
