SNSS Die-version Blog Hop event!

Good morning!

Today, the designers from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps are joining together to showcase the dies that SNSS carries - including three new ones just added to the collection!

Get ready - I have four cards to share with you today using lots of our dies for your inspiration!

My first couple of cards uses these sets:

Small Leaves Dies                         Birds & Feathers Dies                         Decorative Plaque Dies

I stamped the images in Memento inks, doing a bit of shading on the images before I stamped them on the die cuts.  The doily was shaded with a Versamagic chalk ink to mute it a bit.  The Seaweed baker's twine matched the papers and inks quite well.

Bridge of Hope                               Nature Silhouettes 2

My second card uses these three SNSS dies:

I used these two stamp sets for the images and sentiments:

Head in the Clouds and Tea Time (digital set is available now, I used the stamp set)

I stamped the images from Tea Time on the die cuts and colored with Copic markers.  The clouds were shaded with a light blue Colorbox chalk ink to help them stand out just a bit from the white background.  I layered 4 different hexagons with papers from My Mind's Eye.

My next card uses the Small Leaves dies, Birds & Feathers dies, and Pennants & More dies again.  I used some Brilliance inks on this card, so there's a subtle shine on the feather, leaf, and ticket.  Once again, I colored the doily with a Versamagic blue chalk ink pad.

I used Nature Silhouettes 2 and Ticket Sentiments for this CAS card.

My last card uses the new Wave Border dies  along with the Beauty by the Sea stamp set:

I stamped the shells in Black stazon ink on vellum and colored them in with Copics on the backside of the vellum.  Then, I embossed the entire vellum panel with an impression plate and layered on a linen card front with white brads.  I stamped a sentiment from the same stamp set and embellished the bottom of it with the two wave dies, cut from vellum as well.  To embellish just a bit, I added some Platinum shimmer baker's twine.

Whew - if you've stayed with me this whole time, I'm truly grateful!

Check out all the photos below for the projects the rest of the design team has prepared for the hop today.  Leave comments along the way for your chance to win one of the new die sets for yourself!

Don't forget about the great sale Korin has going on right now too!

Have fun hopping!
Jessica
