Twinery & Nikki Sivils blog hop!

Welcome!

I'm honored to be joining some amazing designers in showcasing two great products -

twine from The Twinery

and some beautiful papers, stickers, and punch outs from Nikki Sivils!

I was thrilled to receive the Exit Here paper collection pack.  This was my first experience with the Nikki Sivils line and I have to save I am impressed with the colors and quality of her card stock!  I really liked the variety of the punch outs and the full sheet of several sized ABC stickers... lots of variety to play with, that's for sure!

On my first card, I decided to edge the 'smile' punch out with a strand of twine and then embellished it a bit with a double 'star' bow.  I like to use Tombow Mono Multi adhesive when I work with twine - it dries quicky and keeps the twine in place wonderfully!

Card Details
Stamps: Star Quality (TCM)
Ink: PTI
Card stock: SU; Nikki Sivils Exit Here (patterned paper & punch outs)
Other: Zig Zag ribbon; MFT label die; Twinery Twine; Making Memories brads; Corner rounder

Twinery Twine Used: Shore

My next card uses the camera punch out that I embellished with some twine and glitter -

This time, I went 'all out' and embellished the camera punch out.  After I finished with the twine, I added some glitter, which I wish I would have left off... but, sometimes I don't know when to say enough is enough, I guess... lol!  I finished off the card with the red ABC sticker letters to spell 'cheese' and tucked it just a bit behind the ribbon.
