Friday's Stop & Stamp Cards

Edited to add: I totally forgot to mention here on my blog about the Land Cruise Party that we'll be having in GinaK's Forum tonight!!

There will be contests, challenges, samples, and an awesome Cruising Special that you're not going to want to miss!! I won't be able to stop in the Forum until after we get back from church tonight, but I have a few samples of the challenges that I'll be sharing. I hope you can join us!

Good morning!

Here's the two cards we'll be making at this Friday, October 24th at my monthly Stop & Stamp class at GinaK Designs. This monthly event isn't a traditional class - it's more like a Make-n-Take on steriods! heehee..

I have 2 tables set up - one card at each one along with all the supplies that it takes to make the card. You start where you want, work at your own pace, and get to try out several new products and techniques. I mingle between the two tables and offer help when needed, demonstrate any techniques that may be unknown or new and sometimes even get a chance to stamp along with everyone! It's always a lot of fun!

This first card uses Basic Grey's Eva paper pack, Nestabilities, Kooh-i-noor pencils, OMS, Doodlebug Glitter & flock, Fiskar's Threading Water border punch, and Tim Holtz's Sanding Block. See - I told you I try to pack as much as I can into each card! lol!

Here's a close-up of the flower pot and the Scalloped Oval ... I wish you could see the purple glitter and the black flock a little better...

The second card is one of my most popular card designs. It's such a quick, yet elegant card to make and I'm excited that we'll be doing it together on Friday.

Each person can choose their own color scheme for this card. We have a Neutral DCWV paper stack to choose from and a large variety of Prima Flowers to decorate the leaf with. I chose this Rusty brown because I love this color so much right now.

We'll be using the Cuttlebug Leafy Embossing Folder, Tim Holtz's sanding block, Prima Flowers, Liquid Pearls, Twill Ribbon, Metallic Rub-on Paste, and Nestabilities Label Dies. Once again - lots of fun stuff to play with!

I hope you'll be able to stamp with Shelly, Karen, and I on Friday! Be sure to stop by between 11-7. The cost is $5 or free with a $50 purchase that day in the store. And, Gina is offering a fun little treat for everyone who stops by to make cards with me on Friday: Choose 5 free sheets of Bazzil Cardstock!

Have a great day!

Jessica

Love the card designs.
I have not stopped by the store since moving to the area. Would it be a hassle bringing my stroller contained 14 month old twins with me? Not sure how stroller friendly the store is!

Oh that purple one is gorgeous! I love the color purple, but never seem to be able to 'work' it, lol! This is stunning! And the second hard, with the embossing, and sanding....sooo elegant! See ya tonight for a bit!
